As long as they don't start leaving bombs around London, I couldn't really give a shit.

More a case of pitying people who are too unintelligent to realise that there is no such thing as god.

Why would he give Allah credit for Ghana's win? I'm assuming he scored a goal or made a vital goal line clearance or something.

Allah was the name of the ref who gave them the penalty.

I'm staunch atheist. Anyone that believes in speaking to someone that they think is responsible for their lives is a soppy cunt...

Why would anyone give a fuck about this? Every single America athlete, ever, seems to thank God for their performance. This is no different.

Respect the sportsman, their religion or beliefs have nothing to do with it.

Footballers are as little role models to me as are itinerant desert merchants, itinerant chippies* and itinerant fat bald blokes in love with their own navels.

*Except I'd love to know that trick with water and wine...

Someone from Ghana and someone with a Nigerian background are Muslim? Well I bloody never.

Can't see why this is news to anyone, or why they'd care. I'm pretty sure that Islam and Christianity are pretty much neck and neck in both those countries.

They're both bollocks too, but each to their own. I'm more concerned with how Ayew will react when he comes back and discovers his best mate is a pariah.

And to think we could have signed Jesus.

He's not great on crosses though.

Simply don't care and doesn't change a thing. Not sure why it would/should?

Fat Frank always made a point of pointing up to the heavens when he scored. Almost as pathetic as the players who suck their thumbs in celebration.

Personally I enjoy it when players do a double or triple somersault. Showing off no doubt but entertaining.
